It has been reported from Kollywood that the shoot of the first-schedule of ‘Kayal’ Chandran’s next film is to commence tomorrow.
Chandran, who made a strong impression in the audiences’ mind with his rural lover boy’s role in Prabhu Solomon’s Kayal, had been starring in films such as Grahanam and Rooboi as hero. As such, the upcoming untitled film, which would be the fourth in his career, would be directed by debutant director Sai Sudharsan.
Sadna Titus, who debuted as heroine in Tamil films early this year in Pichaikkaran opposite Vijay Antony, plays the heroine opposite Chandran. R. Parthiepan would play the villain in the film in what would be his second such attempt after his role of an antagonist in last year’s super-hit film Naanum Rowdydhaan. Chandran plays a techie in the film whereas Parthiepan plays his uncle.
“Parthiepan plays the leader of a gang which indulges in stealing idols. After some petty thefts, the gang ‘expands’ its business to steal something big and land up in big trouble. The script has been narrated with a heavy dose of comedy,” says producer Raghu who also informs that the film’s shoot would commence tomorrow (15th July).
