Mohanlal’s Aashirvad Cinema, one of the prominent film production houses in Kerala, is in talks to acquire the Kerala rights for Vijay 60 in collaboration with Maxlab Entertainments.
It must be noted that Aashirvad and Maxlab secured the Kerala theatrical rights of Rajinikanth’s Kabali recently. The film is releasing in a record 301 screens in the God’s Own Country.
Mohanlal had earlier shared screen space with Vijay in Jilla and this new development has raised the curiosity of film buffs. Bankrolled by Vijay Productions, Vijay 60 features Keerthy Suresh as the lead heroine. Jagapati Babu, Daniel Balaji, Harish Uthaman, Sathish, Aadukalam Naren, Aparna Vinod and Y. Gee. Mahendran play important roles in the film.
