It is reported that superstar Rajinikanth’s upcoming film Kabali would be sent to the Regional Censor Board, Chennai today for certification.
With each passing day, expectations about Rajini’s Kabali have been increasing with unbelievable proportions. Teaser, trailer and audio of the film have already been released and have become huge hits with the masses and fans of Rajini. There is, however, some confusion about the date of the film’s release in theatres worldwide.
It was earlier announced that the film would be released on 15th July (next Friday) but the film hasn’t yet been certified and would be sent to the Censor Board only today. Producer ‘Kalaipuli’ S. Thanu, who has years of experience in distributing and releasing films, is holding all the aces close to his heart and would give a clear indication about the film’s release date only after the film is certified.
It has been confirmed that the Malay-dubbed version of Kabali would be released on 29th July. A special Kabali premiere on 21st July would be held in Rex Cinemas in France, arguably the largest cinema hall in Europe with a seating capacity of 2,800 and with a largest screen one could possibly visualize.
