Sathyaraj, Thambi Ramaiya star in G.V. Prakash Kumar’s next film

The muhurat of music director-turned-hero G.V. Prakash Kumar’s upcoming film was held in a grand manner last Sunday (10th July) in Chennai.

The film, which hasn’t yet been titled, would be produced by ‘Aadukalam’ fame Kathiresan. G.V. Prakash Kumar debuted as hero with last year’s Darling and has starred in films such as Trisha Illana Nayantara, Pencil and Enakku Innooru Per Irukku in just 18 months’ time.

He has Kadavul Irukkan Kumaru and Bruce Lee on his hands and both the films are likely to hit the screens by the end of this year. The new film also would have a debutant director in the form of Shanmugam Muthusamy. Veteran actor Sathyaraj, national award-winning actor Thambi Ramaiah, ‘Robot’ Shankar, RJ Ajay and ‘Blade’ Shankar would be essaying prominent roles in the film.

G.V. Prakash Kumar would be scoring the film’s music while Vivek Harshan would be the film’s editor. A heroine would be chosen soon, the crew has said. It may be observed that Kathiresan had, in the past, made super-hit films such as Dhanush-starrers Pollathavan and Aadukalam.
