Directed by Pa. Ranjith, Kabali releases in theatres across Tamil Nadu and in the globe in three days from now on 22nd July. The advance booking to book tickets for the film’s shows commenced yesterday morning. Rajini’s ever-eager fans started waking up from midnight on Sunday itself so as to ensure that they got the tickets for the first-day-first-show, which is akin to a carnival.
Intense competition was witnessed among fans to book the tickets. Tickets for all the shows not only on the first day but for the first four days were sold out within a few minutes of the commencement of online booking. Sathyam Cinemas group alone is releasing Kabali in 26 theatres owned by it. Tickets for all the shows for the first three days in all these 26 halls were sold out in a few moments.
The same trend prevailed elsewhere in the city and across Tamil Nadu. In fact, Rajini’s fans in countries across the globe have also been booking tickets for the film’s premiere shows to watch the film in awe. It won’t be an exaggeration to say that Kabali has created an unprecedented hype and expectation not only among Rajini’s fans but also in the minds of movie-goers!
