In a first-of-its-kind effort, Air Asia has launched ‘Kabali’ special flights depicting superstar Rajinikanth’s images from the soon-to-be-released film on the outer side of its flights. It is hard to believe but it is true that a Tamil film is being publicized across the globe in a manner which might even beat publicity campaigns for Hollywood films!
Rajinii’s Kabali, which is expected to release in theatres across the globe in two weeks from now i.e. on 15th July, has become a truly ‘international film’ as countries where no Tamil film ever released are evincing interest in releasing the film in their lands. Media reports say that Kabali is being discussed even by Hollywood film-makers and critics even as a film starring Rajini and Jackie Chan is reportedly on the cards.
Air Asia, which has already announced special ‘package’ Kabali flights to and from Bangalore and Chennai for Rajini’s ever-eager fans on the first few days of the film’s release, is now operating ‘Kabali’ special flights wherein the flights have been decorated with images of Rajini from the film. ‘Kabali’ has been written in English on the flight’s outer side which also has the word Magizhchi, uttered by Rajini in the film.
‘Kabali’ special flights are operated by Air Asia, one of Asia’s leading airline company, to and from Malaysia and to other important destinations in world. This is for the first time in the history of the world that an actor’s image is painted on a flight to publicize a film. Rajini’s millions of fans are jumping at joy that Rajini happens to be the record-breaker as he has always been!
