Udhayanidhi Stalin has casually managed to have three releases in 2017 – Saravanan Irukka Bayamaen, Podhuvaaaga En Manasu Thangam and Ippadai Vellum. Now he has almost winded up with his upcoming film ‘Nimir’, which happens to be the remake of National award winning Malayalam movie ‘Mahestinte Prathikaram’. The film features Parvathi Nair and Namitha Pramod in female lead roles.
For the first time, Namitha Pramod opens up on the film saying, “Nimir is completely from what it was in Maheshinte Prathikaram. Only the basic premise of the story has been taken and Priyadarshan sir has completely modified the script to the regional adaptation. I was completely in awe of Udhayanidhi Stalin for being such a humble and down-to-earth person. Throughout the shooting, he was keen on improvising even the minute detailing in his performance.”
