As soon as the news about STR being a part of Maniratnam’s multi-starrer project had hit the airs, things became highly sensational. There were some rumours that the actor might be going through troubles of being eliminated from the project. Nevertheless, STR during the audio launch of Sakka Podu Podu Raja had mentioned that he is happy that Maniratnam is keen on casting him in the project. Even then, there were some doubts pertaining to his inclusion in the project. Finally, it all came a surprise with a silent reply from STR with a selfie with maverick filmmaker Maniratnam, which cleared off the rumours.
The actor sought the blessings of Maniratnam for his music directorial debut of Sakka Podu Podu Raja. The workshop started yesterday with script reading session and it has created a huge celebration for STR fans.
Well, there is yet another reason to be exhilarated and that’s a new dashing look of STR that will be unveiled by end of January. The shooting of multi-starrer film featuring promising actors like Jyotika, Vijay Sethupathi, Fahadh Faasil and Aishwarya Rajesh in lead roles alongside STR will commence by January third week and will be a release for December 2018.
AR Rahman is composing music for this film, which has cinematography handled by Santhosh Sivan and editing by Sreekar Prasad.
