How to do Aadhaar correction and Mobile number update in Online portal

Recently launched UIDAI portal, here you can perform update your aadhaar correction and mobile number online.

How to update mobile number?

You can update your mobile number online by using the SSUP portal.

1.      Go to the SSUP portal given link as below

 https://ssup.uidai.gov.in/web/guest/ssup-home

 2.      Towards the end of the page you will find a ‘Click here ‘option in order to submit your update request.

 
 

3.      A new tab will open request your Aadhaar card number. Provide your 12 digit Aadhaar number and click send OTP. Then you will receive an OTP on your registered mobile number. Verify the same.

4.      Then you will be providing with options on the details you want to update. Select ‘mobile number‘ and click on submit.

5.      Verify your mobile number. Then provide your new number. Then click on ‘submit update request’

Finally, you will receive a confirmation for the submission of your update request. It will also display a unique URN. Note this down and check your status of update. Once the updated Aadhaar card is ready, you can download it.

How to check the status of your update request?

1.    Click https://ssup.uidai.gov.in/web/guest/ssup-home

 for the official site of SSUP.

2.      On the upper right corner, click on ‘Update status ‘

3.      Enter your Aadhaar number as well as URN number. 

It will display the status of your updated Aadhaar. If your Aadhaar card is ready for download, you can preview it and then download it.
