Sudeep, a popular hero in Sandalwood and who is better known in Kollywood for his villainic instincts in S.S. Rajamouli’s Naan Ee, has been admitted to a leading private hospital in Bangalore after he developed illness due to hectic shooting schedules.
Sudeep also played a significant role in Rajamouli’s blockbuster hit film Baahubali which released last year. He has now just wrapped up the shoot of his K.S. Ravikumar-directed Tamil film titled as Mudinja Ivana Pudi which marks his debut in Kollywood as hero. Nithya Menen has been paired up opposite him. He is also playing the hero in an upcoming Kannada film Heppuli.
The 42-year old bearded actor complained of fever and stomach-ache during the shoot yesterday and was immediately rushed to a leading private hospital at Bannaragadda Road in Bangalore where a team of doctors attended to him. Hospital sources said late in the evening that Sudeep was feeling fine and was recuperating.
Tweeting on his Twitter account later, Sudeep said “I took ill as I had been shooting non-stop for the past many weeks. A little bit of rest should be okay to put me back on track. I appeal to my fans and well-wishers not to bother much!”
