The last couple of days were eventful in both K – Town and B – Town, when noted actor Irfan Khan accused ‘Kabali’ makers of copying the posters of the Bollywood project ‘Madaari’ starring him. The poster of ‘Kabali’, which was subject to Irfan’s comment, bore striking similarities with that of ‘Madaari’, however had no official connection with the project. Though was a fan made poster, it however had gained enough buzz that it managed to reach even B – Town.
However, soon after Irfan had made his comments, Rajinikanth fans have started protesting against Irfan for making deteriorating comments against their star’s movie. Well, now Irfan has come forward with an explanatory note stating that he had not meant to abuse ‘Kabali’, and added that he was merely joking with the poster. He also added that he had known that it was a fan made poster. And this seems to be going to end the controversy, right?
