A chance to watch acclaimed, recent Kannada films in Chennai



Acclaimed Kannada hits like U-Turn, Thithi and Rangi Taranga to name a few will be screened in Chennai as part of the Kannada Film Festival, which is jointly presented by Karnataka Chatanachitra Academy, Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce, South Indian Film Chamber of Commerce and Indo Cine Appreciation Foundation.
It must be noted that U-Turn is planned to be made as a bi-lingual in Tamil and Telugu with Samantha Ruth Prabhu in talks to reprise the role of a journalist played by Shraddha Srinath in the original.
The entry for the festival is open to all film enthusiasts. The venue for the screening of all films will be Russian Centre of Culture and Science, Chennai. The festival runs between 28th July and 31st July.
